New manager Rob Edwards’ first game in charge and our first match of the 2014-15 pre season ended with a comprehensive victory over Cammell Laird.

Making the trip to the MBS Stadium last night, Edwards used our first encounter to field two different sides in each half, to give as many players as possible a run out and get 45 minutes under their belts.

It was also an opportunity for the gaffer to bolster our first team with the introduction of some youth scholars and trialists as they look to take their shot to impress him ahead of the coming season.
