Steven Jennings has today left Tranmere Rovers to join Scottish Premier League side Motherwell on a one year contract.

Jennings, 24 made his debut for Rovers back in 2003 against Oldham and has gone on to make 114 appearances for Tranmere, also having a loan spell at Hereford United in 2007.

After his loan spell at Hereford United, ‘Jenno came back a different class and become a fans favourite for his high work rate and willingness to make challenges.

The news is a massive blow for Rovers having already lost key players such as Ben Chorley and Antony Kay and potentially Charlie Barnett, Danny Coyne and Ian Moore.

Vital Tranmere Rovers would like to wish Steven all the best and thank him for his time at Rovers.
