Dale Jennings is thought to be unavailable for Tranmere’s game at Brentford on Tuesday as the youngster continues to carry a groin injury.

The wingers form at the tail end of last year saw him branded as the league’s hottest property, but a knock picked up in a friendly against Liverpool has left him sidelined for Rovers last three games against Plymouth, Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough.

In other news, Jack Mackreth- Jennings old teammate in Tranmere’s youth squad- has joined Blue Square North side Hyde FC on a one-month loan.

The 18-year old has featured on the Rovers bench a number of times this season- and impressed on loan at Colwyn Bay last year- but is yet to make his first team debut for the Whites.

Finally, Rovers bottom-half rivals Plymouth Argyle are thought to be going into administration this week, and as a result, will be deducted 10 points.

The Pilgrims have been within touching distance of Rovers throughout the current League One campaign, and although many fans hope this doesn’t mean the end for the Green Army, the verdict will give Les Parry’s side a huge boost in their bid to avoid relegation to League Two.
