Les Parry is certainly earning his money at Prenton Park this week with no fewer than six players suffering with injuries.

Danny Harrison is expected to be out for at least another 2 weeks with a Foot ligament injury and Jason McAteer recently went under the knife and will be missing for a further 3-4 weeks.

Paul McLaren is definitely out on Saturday for the crunch game with Nottingham Forest after suffering a reoccurrence of his ankle injury during the victory over Northampton.

Ronnie Moore, speaking to the Official Site, is also sceptical about Chris Greenacres`s & Shane Sherriff`s chances of making the early season 6 pointer after both missing out at the weekend and “feeling sore.”

Kevin Ellison has also been in the wars and will see an eye specialist after being bizarrely and accidentally poked in the eye by Calvin Zola during the Congolese striker’s celebrations after he opened the scoring at Sixfields Stadium.
