Tranmere manager Les Parry has publicized that he is interested in bringing a left back on loan, to cover the suspended pair Aaron Cresswell and Zoumana Bakayogo.

After first team regular Zoumana Bakayogo was sent off for receiving two yellow cards during Rovers 0-0 draw away at Bristol Rovers on Saturday, Youngster Aaron Cresswell was set to fill in for the French born defender.

However Cresswell was also shown a red card following his lunge during a match for the reserves in the Liverpool Senior Cup, a game Rovers lost to Liverpool Reserves.

Yesterday afternoon Parry spoken about the possibility of using the £11,000 from the Les Aid to bring in a short term let back.

“We`re looking to bring someone in on loan because left-back is such an important position” Parrry said.

Tranmere welcome Hartlepool united to Prenton Park tomorrow night, meaning the signing could be made anytime tomorrow.
