Little Working Hard To Halt Slump

Brian Little says the players and management are working hard to correct the dismal run they have had this season.

This season we lie 4th from bottom with only four wins in seventeen matches. What a contrast to last years 3rd place finish.

Little, who is increasingly under pressure – with the board taking the unusual step of criticising the manager in an official statement for not spending any money – said following the 2-1 loss to MK Dons:

‘We have to keep working. To have gone from where we feel we’ve been over the last week or two to the second half is such a drop it’s untrue. That’s my fault and I have to take it on the chin. I accept that there will be criticism and I understand that. But we are working hard to put it right. Whether or not people accept that, I can’t answer for them.’

He also says he doesn’t blame the fans for getting angry.
