Just ahead of the game against York City at the weekend, manager Micky Adams brought in Sheffield United youngster Harrison McGahey.

The 19 year old comes to Prenton Park on a loan spell until the end of the season, and he has made 22 appearances for manager Nigel Clough’s side so far this campaign having joined them from Blackpool over the summer.

Speaking briefly about his signing, the manager said.

‘Harrison is a versatile right sided defender and we look forward to having him at the club.’

Having come in ahead of the game against York, McGahey made his starting debut for us in the two nil loss.

So far in his short career, he now has 22 starting appearances to his name, with an additional five appearances from the substitutes bench.
