Moore dwells on a dissapointing defeat.

Moore is heartbroken after his side failed to hang on for a point at Roots Hall.

Speaking after the match, Moore told the clubs official website:

‘First minute and last minute?how many times are we going to get done with it?

‘We’ve got to learn. Three players walked away when the goalkeeper took the kick, one of them should have stood on it.

‘All it needed was a knock into the corner. Ian got tangled up with their lad and it ended up being a free kick. Then the three lads turned their back on it. Ryan has held his hand up, but you shouldn’t be done from there.

‘In the first half we weren’t at the races. But in the second half we got on it, passed it and had one or two little chances.

‘The decisions we made were the wrong decisions. It’s a tough place to come and you’d have been happy with a point.

‘There’s a bit of ill feeling in the dressing room. There’s moaning about not holding it up in the corner, and there’s moaning at centre backs about getting it cleared.’

However Moore explained why ‘keeper John Achterberg was called into first team duty and revealed that the influential Ian Goodison could be back next week.

Moore added:

‘Danny had a block tackle in the last kick at Colchester on Tuesday,’ he added. ‘He tweaked it in training on Friday, and it might be a couple of weeks. So we had to get young PK down and it probably frightened the life out of him.

‘We’re hoping Goody might be back for next Saturday which would be brilliant, and Chris Greenacre is still two weeks away.’
