Moore pre match Peterborough.

Ronnie Moore hopes that his side can beat Peterborough tomorrow after his troops have played the Posh 3 times this season already drawing twice and losing most recently in the FA Cup.

Moore believes his side are more than capable of winning.

Speaking earlier on, Moore told Tranmere World:

‘It’s a tremendous three games we’ve got coming up and a great opportunity to put the result from Saturday to bed. We’ve got to get over the disappointment of the last minute goal. If we can win the game it puts us three points off Peterborough and really tightens up the top six or seven spots.

‘They’re in a great position and we wish we could be where they are. We owe them one. We’ve been the best side in the majority of the games but we haven’t got the results we warranted. It’s no good crying about it, we have to make sure we do get the result that is wanted.

‘They’ve got three lads up front who are better than this division. They are all a threat, but we’re a threat too. We’re playing at home and we’ll take the game to them.’

Moore also revealed that ‘keeper Danny Coyne will miss out through injury.

Moore added:

‘There are one or two knocks and we’ll not know until the last minute whether or not they’ll be available. Danny has tweaked his medial ligaments. He thinks he might be alright for Saturday so John [Achterberg] will play against Peterborough. John made two or three good saves on Saturday so it’s another opportunity for him. Andy Taylor is fine. He felt a bit of pressure on his hamstring and it was a precautionary measure that we took him off.’
