Ronnie Moore couldn’t contain his disapointment after Rovers surrendered a two goal lead against Huddersfield last night. He did however also offer a good deal of humour in his post-match interview.

Speaking to the Official Site, Ronnie came out with a great comment when he spoke of Rovers’ first half, and in particular our third goal from Chris Greenacre that never was. He said ‘That’s as good as we’ve played in the first half and you have to go a long way to see a goal as good as the second. I’d love to see the third one on half-time. If that one was offside I’ll show my Bum in Woolies.’

Ronnie Moore – what a guy.

He was hugely disapointed with Tranmere’s second half display though. He added ‘You tell me how a side can change that much at half time. It feels like a defeat and I’ve let them know in no uncertain terms. We were soft-centred in the second half.’

Moore went on to say ‘If we miss out by one or two points at the end of the season we know where we’ve lost it.’
