After signing his new 12 month contract Andy Robinson has said he wants to improve further on his performances last season.

Robinson obviously has one of his best years scoring wise last season as he found the net 10 times in 38 appearances and he told the Official Site he wanted to better that next season if he possibly could.

‘I’m very happy. Last season was a good one for me and I really enjoyed it. We all know what happened at the back end of the season and we’re here for pre season in a few days to try to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.’

Robinson says that there was never any doubt about his signing the deal once it was offered and he hopes to hang up his boots as a Tranmere player in the future.

‘I want to improve on last year. Regardless of your age you never stop learning and I’m looking forward to the season, I was pleased to get into double figures and I want to do the same again.’
