It’s being reported that Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore has become the latest person to be questioned by the Football Association as they continue their investigation into ‘betting.’

The allegation against Moore is that he breached betting regulations laid down by the FA specifically in relation to those rules which prevent him from placing a bet on any competition to which his club is involved in.

No charges have been levelled and he has not been suspended and the FA when questioned would neither confirm or deny reports that the 61 year old had been a subject of investigation by its integrity unit.

A statement from Tranmere read.

‘Tranmere Rovers are aware of media reports regarding Ronnie Moore. As this is an ongoing matter the club will make no further comment at this time.’
