Owain fon Williams has said that the second half spirit in the team in the game against Crewe must become the norm for Tranmere this season.

Speaking to the Official Site the keeper explained that there were plenty of positives to take from how the group came back out in the second half and he has faith that results will improve in the coming weeks.

‘You can look back at the games we’ve played and we haven’t done so well, but the Crewe game, especially in the second half, how we reacted when we went down to ten me, we showed a bit of fight. We can take that into the rest of the games and we have to do it every game.’

Fon Williams adds that although he feels the squad is stronger this season, the team haven’t gelled properly yet but when that happens we should start to fly in games – the problem is nobody yet knows when it will click.
