Ronnie Moore believes the game against Wrexham was a game of two halves, and what was an excellent performance without reward in the first half, turned into disappointment.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer explained.

‘I thought we were excellent in the first half, the only thing missing was a goal. We had so many chances and so much of the play but we took our foot off the pedal in the second half, we were sloppy and there weren’t enough forward passes. So the second half isn’t where we want to be but there were a lot of plusses. They know they let themselves down.’

Moore describes the second goal as ‘farcical’ saying you need proper referees even for pre season games!

In other news Owain Fon Williams could now miss the opening game of the season after picking up a knee injury in training. Apparently it’s a problem with his medial ligaments and that could mean a four week spell on the sidelines if it’s bad.
