Former Tranmere ace Ryan Taylor has experienced relegation for the first time in his career after Alan Shearer failed to keep the Magpies up.

Newcastle were relegated at Villa Park earlier on today which ends there spell of 16 years in top flight football.

Taylor joined Newcastle from Wigan in an exchange deal with Charles N`zogbia and Taylor will now be wondering if joining United was the right decision, with him destined to be playing in the English second tier next season.

Taylor could not help Newcastle beat the drop as he was left on the bench by Alan Shearer a decision which has been questioned by some Newcastle fans, after the dodgy performance of United`s right back David Edgar.

Infact fellow network friends Vital Newcaslte United published on a story:

‘If Ryan Taylor had been played at right-back, Jonas Gutierrez on the right wing, Damien Duff on the left side, and Jose Enrique at left-back; would the result have differed? No one will know the answer to that question. But due to the poor offensive display of the club, these changes seem logical enough to have been implemented. But- Big Al saw it differently.’

Vital Tranmere Rovers would like to wish Ryan Taylor and Newcastle United the best of luck to bounce back to where the club belongs, the Premiership.
