Tonight’s pre season friendly against local neighbours ended in a two all draw.

Manager Rob Edwards would’ve been hoping we could draw a line under our last two friendly losses against Marine and Rhyl, and thanks to goals from Cole Stockton and James Rowe, we did just that.

Everton took a first half lead in the game, and it took until the 63 minute for us to draw level after we spurned a number of opportunities to get ourselves level, but by the same token Everton had the chances to increase their lead.

They then took the advantage again, leaving us to battle back and level the scores for the second time with only three minutes of normal time remaining.

Edwards would certainly have been pleased with how we kept plugging away, and whilst it wasn’t Everton’s full first team on display, there were names people would know well, so to come from behind twice will be a great boost for everyone.
