Earlier in the day manager Ronnie Moore had talked about his hope of being able to secure an additional loan spell for Stephen Arthurworrey, Matthew Pennington and Matthew Kennedy as he had been impressed with their performances overall since first joining us.

All three have also been involved in every game since moving to us on their loan spells.

Earlier this afternoon we had confirmation that Moore had been able to do that with right back Matthew Pennington.

Everton agreed to a further one month loan deal with the player having initially joined us on New Year’s Day, and the deal is now just subject to Football League and Football Association clearance.

He has made six appearances for us so far, scoring the winning goal against Crewe.

A few hours ago, Tranmere also confirmed that Fulham had also agreed to extend the loan of Stephen Arturworrey for a further month. So move is subject to the same clearance.

The centre half also joined us on New Year’s Day and has also played six times for us.

Hopefully Moore will make a trio shortly with confirmation of Matthew Kennedy.
