Gerado Bruna and Matt Hill have today joined Rovers on differing deals as they continue to hope to impress new manager Rob Edwards.

Bruna has signed a one month contract at Prenton Park, subject to international clearance, whilst Hill has penned non contract terms.

Bruna has been on trial with us throughout pre season, and played in the games against Rhyl, Marine, Everton and Bolton Wanderers.

Edwards told the Official Site of the 23 year old.

‘Bruna is a talented young player who has done really well for us over the last few weeks. He has got huge quality and we want to give him a chance to prove himself and his fitness.’

The Argentinian started in the youth system at Real Madrid before moving onto Liverpool. He spent two years with Blackpool before playing in Spain for SD Huesca last year.

Defender Hill has spent the last two years with Sheffield United, making 39 appearances for them last year before his release.

‘Matt is a player I know well and who will give us extra cover. He’s a quality defender who has played at a high level all of his career and will fit in well with the rest of the squad.’

Hill is in contention for the season opener should the gaffer choose, but Bruna will only be eligible if the club receive his clearance in time for the game.
