James Wallace will spend the next two weeks at the national football centre at St George’s Park as he bids to recover from a knee injury.

The midfielder has been out since last December and if all goes well, he could be back in September.

Speaking to the Official Site, assistant manager John McMahon said.

‘James is there for two weeks, that’s the next stage of his rehabilitation. It’s a different environment for him so he’s not staring at the same four walls. Hopefully he’s not too far away now.’

In other news, Owain Fon Williams has been selected for Welsh duty for their friendly against the Republic of Ireland.
