Former Tranmere defender Luke Waterfall has been given the opportunity to get back into football with Oxford United.

Waterfall was released by Rovers after just one year at the club.

United boss Chris Wilder told BBC Oxford:

‘We have had a recommendation about him and I have seen him a couple of times in reserve team football’

‘We will have a look at him for a week and take it from there.’
