Tranmere have signed Chelsea left back Ben Gordon on a one month loan deal.
With Zoumana Bakayogo and Aaron Cresswell out through suspension it was important that Les brought a left back in to cover for the suspended pair.
Gordon, 19 has been a regular in Chelsea Reserves side this season and has played for England at u17 level.
Manager Les Parry told www.tranmererovers.co.uk:
‘Ben is a talented defender who has a lot of potential.
‘With Zoumana Bakayogo and Aaron Cresswellsuspended for the game at Brighton on Saturday his signing means we don’t have to play someone out of position.
