Tranmere make the 64 mile trip to Huddersfield Town tonight, the last time Rovers played Huddersfield was last season at Prenton Park, a match Rovers comfortably won 3-1 with former ‘skipper and now Huddersfield Town player Antony Kay grabbing a brace of goals.

Physio and Caretaker boss Les Parry will definitely be without key man Chris Shuker for tonight’s match after damaging his ankle ligaments during the 0-0 home draw to Aldershot in the FA Cup last Saturday.

The only other injury concerns for Rovers are Alan Mahon who will be out for another 2-3 weeks and also long term injury man Bas Savage who will not be back until the new year.

Ryan Fraughan could get into the squad after being left out in the last couple of games due to the sad death of his mother recently.
