Tranmere have a number of players on the treatment table. In the first team they include McAteer, who has recently joined the coaching staff as well. Danny Harrison and Alex Bruce.

McAteer injured his knee in training and is thought to be out for around five weeks due to the damage caused to a medial collateral ligament.

A broken nose picked up in the 2-2 draw with Gillingham has kept Danny Harrison out of action following the need for an operation to straighten it. OUCH. Tranmere hope he will be fit for the FA Cup tie v Bradford on November 6th.

Alex Bruce will sit out training for a few days having picked up a knock on Monday.

In the reserve set up 21 year old winger Paul Brown is out but should resume training next week and centre back Paul Martin has been told he needs to wear a back support and rest for three months to help a lower back problem. The plan is that he will return to action in February.

And me? I’ve got a problem stopping me playing football as well. I’m rubbish!
