As Rovers entertain Wycombe Wanderers tonight in a crucial match boss Les Parry has pleaded to Rovers fans to support the team for the two home games this week.

Tonight`s visitors are two places below Tranmere in League one and a win for Tranmere tonight could see Rovers lift out of the relegation zone.

Speaking to the press before the

Game, the gaffer told www.tranmererovers.co.uk:

“The fans can make a massive difference in both games. I have this philosophy that if I know I’ve done my best, if after the game I look back and think we’ve prepared the lads as well as we can, then if the players can say they’ve come off the pitch and given 100% and couldn’t have given any more, even if we’ve been beaten that isn’t a problem.”

Trannmere could give a home debut to Andy Robinson who signed for Rovers, from Leeds United last month. ‘Robbo has completed his 3 match suspension and looks set to replace Craig Curran who is out due to a groin injury.

Manager Parry added:

‘Andy and Paul make a massive difference. Both of the players have that little touch of class and they can create something for us. Both can have quite a big impact. Andy was disappointed in getting sent off and will see it as letting the lads down. He has come back here to play football and he is champing at the bit.”

Striker Terry Gornell will miss tonight as he serves his second game out of a 3 match ban, whilst on loan Manchester City defender Shaleum Logan is out following his hernia operation.
