After the update on the O’Callaghan saga earlier today, we reveal that Tranmere have signed the ‘Cork City King’, George O’Callaghan.

After a stumbling block was hit during contract negotiations, Ronnie managed to smooth out the creases within the deal to secure possibly the most exciting signing of the season so far.

O’Callaghan, an Central Attacking Midfielder has had much experince in both England and Ireland for Birghton, Ipswich Port Vale and Cork City. He is held in the highest regard by Cork City Fans, and is fondly known as, ‘the king’. He seems to fit in nicely as a replacement for Macca at the heart of our midfield, hopefully alongside Jenno.

We at Vital Tranmere have brought you early confirmation of many comings and goings this summer, and again we believe we have brought Transfer news early to our visitors.
