Tranmere Rovers caretaker manager Les Parry gave his pre-match thoughts ahead of the FA Cup replay tonight at Aldershot.

If Rovers manage to beat Aldershot they will progress to the third round of the competition and will face Premier League opposition Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Speaking to Tranmere Player prior to tonight’s game the physiotherapist said the lads will not need motivation as it is the FA Cup.

Parry told Tranmere Player:

‘The lads will be fired up because it’s the FA Cup. We still haven’t had two consecutive wins so that will be our aim tomorrow.

I think Aldershot will have to open up a bit more because they’re at home.

I’m sure they’ll be aware of the threats we’ve got. They play football and they’re really well organised.

They came here to get a result and they got it. We’ve got to go down there now and do what they did to us.’
