Tranmere Rovers take on Aldershot Town for a place in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Tranmere Rovers Team News:

Ian Goodison looks set to miss out after coming off with a back injury against both Leyton Orient and Southend.
Shaleum Logan and Michael Ricketts are also struggling to be fit but caretaker manager Les Parry could welcome back Paul McLaren and Charlie Barnett following illnesses. Bas Savage remains sidelined with a long-term achilles problem.

Player to watch: Craig Curran

The Liverpool-born youngster looks set to retain his starting place after a run of positive performances. Curran has scored two goals in cup games this season and will be looking to add to that tally against the Shots.

Aldershot Town Team News:

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon is still without Dean Howell for the trip to Prenton Park whilst defender Adam Hinshelwood is havng his fitness monitored.

Player to watch: Scott Donnelly

Donnelly is probably the most influential player for Aldershot who pulls the strings in midfield and makes things happen. Given time on the ball, he’s a dangerous player and should be man-marked by someone like John Welsh.
