Ronnie Moore dwells on a frustrating day at the office for Tranmere Rovers and also expresses his opinion on Mr. Ward.

Once again Ronnie Moore felt it necessary to look to his side’s away form to excplain The Rovers’ poor end of season position.

‘We’ve ot to improve on our away from. There was nothing in the game, but you can’t give away the goal we did. We were chasing the game early on but we got ourselves back in with a good goal from Greeny.’

Not for the first time this season, Ronnie Moore had words to say regarding the referee’s performance. Surprise, surprise they weren’t kind words.

‘I dont like criticising referees, but he had a nightmare today. Some of the decisions he made…
‘The linesman got involved in the sending off for adopting an aggressie attitude. What’s that all about? The lad is whacking Ian and trying to get the ball when he is trying to let it go out. Surely common sense should be used there and just have a chat to them. He looked miles out of his depth, but that doesn’t take away from our performance.

‘The whole thing about today was coming here and winning so no one takes our spot. It’s disappointing. We need to be in top six and in the Play Offs. We’ve got to get awa from the lack of discipline and soft touch away from home. We’ll always pick up points at home.’

Will these be Ronnie Moore’s last post-match comments? Will this be Ronnie Moore’s last press release whilst at Tranmere?
