Mr Boyeson has already refereed twice this season for Rovers. Earlier on in the season Boyeson refereed the Johnston’s Paint Trophy tie at home to Crewe and also refereed at home to Peterborough in the FA Cup were Tranmere suffered a 2-1 defeat.
So far he has refereed 26 games his most recent one was the Plymouth’s 1-0 win over top of the Championship Wolves.
Carl’s assistants will be S Ledger and P Kettlewell. Whilst the fourth official will be G Hart.
