Former Rovers man Andy Robinson put Swansea ahead after just 6 minutes, taking advantage of the static Whites defence to head home unmarked.

Lee Trundle doubled Swansea’s lead on 52 minutes when he went one on one with Gavin Ward, holding Chris McCready off to cooly slot home.

The frontman was booked for his over zealous celebration, choosing to bait the home support despite the travelling fans being right in front of him.

Trundle was then shown a second yellow card 7 minutes later for kicking the ball away when Rovers had won a free kick.

A terrible performance in truth from Rovers, at times we were absolutely clueless and there were too many bad individual performances.

Next up is Saturday’s trip to Burslem, where the Whites face a Port Vale side who beat Rotherham 5-1 at Millmoor at the weekend!
