It has been announced that Tranmere Rovers will host Bolton Wanderers in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 29th July.
After last years close encounters, Bolton will be fearing the game against Tranmere Rovers this pre-season. Only a late strike last season could separate the two sides, even though there are two leagues between the sides.
Bolton have since moved up in the world from last season by narrowly avoiding relegation from the premiership and having to recruit lower league managers. This all came after they were rejected by bus driver, ‘Fat’ Sam Allardyce.
Bolton will have to be careful on their way to Prenton Park ensureing that they don’t drive past Anfield and encounter any abuse from the spanish after they lost out off the field to Spanish police. Their fans, notorious for their misbehaviour and their acting like animals which are normally seen caged in a zoo, were stood up to by la Guardia Civil and truely put in their rightful place.
Tranmere fans will hope that they put the trotters in their rightful place on the pitch in July by getting one over them in a victory.
