Tranmere Rovers are in contract negotiations with midfielder Charlie Barnett.
www.skysports.com earlier reported that Tranmere are poised to open talks with the highly-rated midfielder.
The former Liverpool youngster is attracting interest from Championship and League One clubs due to his fine form this season.
The youngster seems to be getting better and better as each game comes along and scored another stunning volley against Hereford on Monday. The youngster has scored 3 senior goals this season, one being an important strike against local rivals Oldham.
Recently the talented prospect has showed his desire to stay at Prenton Park stating to the Liverpool Echo he wanted to stay at the club.
Rovers fans now will be hoping Tranmere will be able to fight of interest from other clubs to secure a new deal for the highly rated youngster.
