Youngster Joins Rovers On Loan.

Winger joins Tranmere.

Tranmere Rovers have today signed Leicester winger Robbie Burns on a one month loan.

Tranmere sign Burns just as Rovers make the short trip to Oldham on Saturday. With wingers Danny Mayor and Chris Shuker out with injury Moore has brought in the talented youngster who has yet to play a senior game for the foxes.

The 18 year old has only just signed his first professional contract with the club penning a one year deal and has decided to gain some first team experience by coming to Prenton Park.

Moore admitted he thinks Burns is a very talented youngster and has seen the youngster in action for Leicester`s youth and reserve team on several occasions.

Moore told the clubs official website earlier today:

‘We’ve watched Robbie a few times this season and he is a good young player. He’s a tricky winger who will give us added options.

‘I’d like to thank Leicester Manager Nigel Pearson for allowing him to come to us until the end of the season.’

Burns will go straight into the squad when Rovers take on Oldham on Saturday and will wear the number 28 shirt.
